Speed dating for continuous improvement

120 min

Meetings with many participants have their disadvantages. If you are a participant, most of the time you will have to be quiet. The larger the group, the less time you have to share your thoughts.

Consider spicing-up your group discussions with a speed-dating method, where every participant is fully engaged.

Steps to take:

  1. Each team comes up with a topic they want to explore or to change.
  2. They start talking about this topic with each participant in the room in depth 1 on 1. They also talk about the topic that the other participants selected.
  3. 5 minutes per topic, 10 minutes in total for each pair
  4. Finish when everyone has talked to everyone.
  5. Let people present the outcomes.
