Was everyone heard?

10 min

When doing a complex work everyone contributes better when they feel they have a stake. Decisions that are fully aligned with all team members enable each of them to make local decisions for flawless execution.

People may be quiet in the meeting because they support the decisions, but sometimes there might be someone who disagrees strongly, and they couldn’t find the right moment to raise their voice.

This exercise is a nice way to detect flaws in the moderation. Ask participants if everyone was heard? If you do it in writing, combine it with an emoticon showing their mood. Discuss extreme moods and talking time inequalities.
